Kat And The Harlequin


I thought of having a photo shoot with a Venetian mask which I believe (probably wrongly) that it represents the clown Harlequin. The Commedia Dell’arte is a theatrical genre born in Italy in the 16th century. It originated the masks that are still worn during Venice's Carnevale celebrations. One of the best known is the mask of Harlequin (in Italian, Arlecchino).

Kat is a senior at New York University, majoring in the Urban Design and Architecture Studies (UDAS) program.
