I intend to start a new project in 2024, focusing on street photography in Manhattan's Chinatown. The objective is to capture the daily scenes of its residents shopping and socializing, while also documenting the area's slowly but surely vanishing authenticity in the face of increasing commercial gentrification, the emergence of trendy food and bubble tea cafes.
I've documented Chinatown during the dark days of Covid19, and during many of its celebrations for Chinese New Year.
