TIA | Crosby Street


One of my favorite streets for my urban "fashion" photo sessions is Soho's Crosby street. It has the vibe of the old artistic and industrial Soho, is only six blocks long, starting at Bleecker Street to the north and ending at Howard Street, a street just north of Canal, to the south...and naturally has its share of vibrant graffiti'ed walls, definite grunginess and grittiness in certain locations and is paved with the original Belgian cobblestones....and, as a bonus, it sees less foot traffic than the rest of the shopping streets in Soho.

These attributes made it ideal for a photo session with Tia, a hair stylist.
