A Nymph (Greek: νύμφη, nymphē) in Greek and in Roman mythology is a young female deity typically identified with natural features such as mountains, trees and flowers, springs, rivers, and lakes or the sea. The word also describes a young woman, especially one who is attractive, beautiful or graceful.
