Serendipity on Crosby Street (SoHo)



I am frequently reconnoitering the streets of SoHo in order to locate walls and facades with fresh graffiti (or at least new to me) to include in my list of favored spots for setting up fashion sessions. I am attracted to these powerful colors -and often wild messages-  to serve as backdrops.

Having located a few spots south of Canal Street, I then walked on Crosby Street to check whether there had been new additions there, and noticed a lovely woman dressed in a red suit being photographed by a friend using an iPhone.

A few words were exchanged and despite the cold temperature,  ChloĆ© agreed to be photographed for a few minutes at the entrance of the nearby NoMo Hotel. Instagram swapping was done, and I forwarded her photos a few hours later.

Pure serendipity.
