He was still setting up his amplifier, his wahwah pedal and adjusting his guitar strings when I approached his spot to photograph him. He's a regular fixture in Washington Square Park, playing his guitar along with the rest of an ad hoc band who join him later during the day.
Though busy with his adjustments, he was very amenable to being photographed and we exchanged a few words. Sharing his name's first initial with mine, he asked where I was originally from, and expressed his lifelong wish to see the Pyramids and ride a camel.
He also expressed a desire to visit Mecca, but was visibly disappointed when I said that only Muslims were allowed in.
I've said it before in previous blog posts, but engaging in conversations -even if brief- with strangers in the Park has been an eye opener. There's nothing more interesting than human beings...and as it's said 'everyone has a story to tell".
I used my favorite Nymph "soup recipe" in ON1, and photographed 'T' with the GFX50S and 50mm.
