Esther Hong is a Korean-American Actress and Model. After high school, Esther attended business school in 2014. She joined several dance teams and won first place at Tufts' Break The Stage Competition in 2016. She started modeling in 2018 after graduating while also working full-time.

She appeared in Succession, the blockbuster HBO series, as well as other television series and shorts. She also appeared in various commercials and other print ads.

We arranged for a photo session in SoHo...combining "headshots" and lifestyle photographs, using the area's streets, cafes and traditional staircases as backdrops. The stills were created with the GFX50S/45mm which is my go-to combo for this sort of photography, and I used the X-Pro3's 4K video feature to capture some clips for eventual Instagram Reels.

Frankie Does Pink

Frances Alvarado (aka Frankie) is an educator-teacher, a part-time  photographer/videographer, a skateboarder, is trilingual, as well as a Korean drama fan and a cat-mother. Born in Puerto Rico, she's a New Yorker and learned Korean which she claims is quite easy is to do. Naturally, one of her favorite colors is pink. 

We had scheduled a photo session in SoHo on a cloudy afternoon which was preceded by rain showers. It was Frances' brilliant idea to use a pink umbrella complementing her trademark heart-shaped glasses.

Esther | SoHo Cinematic

I had two photo sessions during the past weekend; one of which was with Esther, an actor and model. Apart from still photography, we also worked on a handful of video clips (destined for Instagram reels), and I chose this one (26 seconds) which I fiddled with using Vimeo's new creation tools. The clips were made with the Fuji X-Pro3's 4K option.
